Applied for chemical-biology

Applied for theory program. Interviewed three weeks ago. Got an email from Prof. Todd Martinez at 2 in the morning pacific time notifying I'm admitted. Four years of research, two research labs, three strong LOR, Duke REU, Beckman scholar.

It hurts to start with rejection, especially because I also applied to the KHS program. Congrats and good luck to those who are undergoing the interview process!

Received an email from program late afternoon EST. Worked on one research project at a PUI since freshman year, including two summers (no publications). Interest in inorganic catalysis. Shocked.

I am applying for CTE Ph.D. at Stanford University. I spoke with a potential advisor who was very patient and thorough in answering my questions. This year they received more applications than previous years over 1,000 for roughly the same spots. Applications are currently being reviewed and in some cases, interviews are being scheduled. Despite Covid 19 things appear to be going as scheduled. The next steps are waiting for mid-February decisions to come out. Best of luck to everyone on here applying to their respective fields.

Did anyone receive an offer from Stanford? Apparently, they sent out some acceptances today?

The professor that I listed as my faculty interest emailed me with acceptance. Formal letter to come later this week.
