ML, 3 publications + 1 under review, decent undergrad GPA, okay LoRs

Interviewed (15min slots) with POI 2 weeks ago. Suspect rejection due to interview experience...

AI, 5 A* publications. No interview. From a place that most of the people haven't heard of.

Could be sour grapes, but can't say I'm too broken up about it. The Stanford PI I talked to was condescending and rude, and I already have offers from two of my other top choices. To anyone else in the same boat, there are better places to spend five years!

I haven't heard anything from Stanford regarding their Master's Aero/Astro program - do people know if they interview candidates for Masters programs as well? I'm just assuming I'm getting a rejection at this point.

Rejected via email for vision. They really had the audacity to send decisions on Chinese New Year ... Undergrad from top 10 CS program, paper at CVPR, 1.5 YOE at FAANG
