To the question below about status: it appears at least last year they released in batches (judging from last year's data on this forum). Also looking at this and a similar Chinese forum, it seems everyone accepted so far has a CS/Engineering background. Perhaps adcom is organized then by center of study. |

To fellow applicants, I just called the institute and got confirmation that they do email admission in batches. Students profiles are assigned randomly to groups of faculty, and when your application gets reviewed really depends on the speed of the faculty you are assigned to, so it's not related when you submitted application. More admissions will be communicated probably in the next two weeks. Stay tight (I know it's hard). |

Got generic rejection email. (315 < my gre score < 320). 1.5 yrs work experience in data-crunching and data analysis in a reputed firm, but not in ML or AI. No research papers published (probably why I got rejected). Undergrad from VIT university (B Tech Information Technology) in India |
