Notification by email. Got accepted, can't believe it!! (btw previous post was me) - one week to respond to the offer and $4000 deposit.

To the poster below, Sorry to hear about the news. Did you apply to the Vancouver or Okanagan campus?

Still no notification from them. Why are they taking so long? With every single day passing i'm getting more and more worried.

Did any one got an email from columbia mentioning that your application is under review before the admission decision is out?? I gave online interview on feb 22nd but still have not heard anything from them

Anyone still waiting for UBC cs decision? Are the people who didn't receive their decision waitlisted? or their application still not reviewed?

I didn't get any notification from these people, is anybody else left out in the same way? My case is still 'pending', what to do?

High undergraduate GPA, from an unknown college in India. Good TOEFL, one reputed national conference paper, one research internship at premier institute in india. No worries, good luck to all!

168Q, 164V, 5.0W. Non-CS major from top University. 2/3 Strong LOR. Solid SOP. Took core CS classes from Columbia to supplement background and did well - think helped. Super excited. Will accept.

I wonder why were they holding on to the application for so long. I had applied quite early.

Are the decisions out? For how long more do we need to wait to hear back something, anything? Did anyone get any kind of informal info about the status of masters applications?

IEOR Department. Any news for the MS&E ? Interviewed but no news since 22/02. Are they still giving acceptances ?

Mailed them last week. They said all the results will be rolled out in upcoming week. Still haven't heard anything from them.

To the poster below who the UBC reply, thanks for the note. What do they mean by "still in consideration?" Does it mean waitlisted or not reviewed at all yet? Thanks.

This is getting to the point of rudeness. This is much later than previous years and 8 days from the acceptance deadline and still no notification of any kind.
