Checked website without receiving an email. There was a notification in the applicant portal.

Fresh grad. Didn't even get an interview. Heard that this program is super competitive and also prefer candidates with work experiences. Anyway, congrats to anyone who got admitted! Happy for y'all!

(Env concentration) I applied for a PhD; was essentially rejected for a PhD as no professors could commit to funding my research, but informally accepted for a MS with full funding. All communications have been through informal emails with the admissions committee, but I haven't received a formal offer -- so if you're still waiting for a decision on an MS, stay hopeful!

My top choice!! Subfield cosmology, offer letter mentions that there were 1200 applicants for the Physics PhD program this year.

Sub-field: Biophysics. 2 years of research. 1 publication in prestigious journal, 1 preprint.

just got an email! experimental AMO and QIS. 2 years of research. no publications, no GRE. solid rec letters.

Cognitive psychology background with a minor in applied statistics and a minor in information science. Two years of internship experience in UX. The rejection hurts.
