I suspect they admit either continuing Berkeley students or people with many years of ground experience and a solid research proposal, almost a set dissertation proposal. I applied twice and got rejected. I believe I have a strong profile, also was encouraged by the Berkeley faculty. I got my top three choices, but UCB is hard to get in, oh boy yes |
