Graduate School Admission Results

Got a mail saying that I have been accepted. Formal mail and other details to follow.

All of the results will be sent out by the end of today. There will be about 1300 rejections in total.

Not so sad though..got another amazing admit from UMD CP!

We regret to inform you that we will not be offering you admission to the Ph.D. program at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. We received over 2200 applications this year and were not able to admit all competitive applicants. The Graduate Admissions Committee evaluated the applications very carefully and had to make difficult decisions, denying admission to many excellent candidates because of the limited number of available slots.

Canadian student with BA from Western. Accepted via email and funding email came a few days later. $18k funding plus OGS.

There were over 2100 applicants. I figured I would get reject, good luck to everyone

I saw that someone got acceptance for this program from GWU. Did you have interview before got accepted?

gpa is masters.

I also emailed them, and they told me about 90% of the offers have not been sent out... I hope this is true!

Actually a little surprised, but I realize it was a competitive year. Congratulations to those for whom this was a top choice and were offered admission.
