Interview with POI not mentioned in SOP

To the USC Computer Science poster below: I think the application is first evaluated by the general admission committee of USC to check if you meet the minimum criteria, and whether or not your application is worth reviewing by the CS department. If you meet the basic academic requirements then they send your application to CS department, where it will be reviewed by the department's admission committee. Good luck.

To the poster below with USC CS PhD interview, may I know which field you're applying for?

USC -- my decision round is 674. Should i assume a rejection?

Currently a Master of Science in Computer Science (Intelligent Robotics) at USC (final semester), worked with POI since summer 2014, after completing his course satisfactorily, being active and helpful in class and in mailing list. My POI is a hidden gem in Robotics at USC, he is really good!!! I hope I can keep up with his greatness :) Undergrad from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, by the way :D

Has anyone heard anything regarding the general computer science program?
