26K stipend and fellowship for 2 years!!!!!

still waiting... has anyone heard anything from the admission committee?

To the posters below asking about deferment, I called Viterbi's admissions office today and as best as I can remember, the answer was something like, "We make summer offers based on what you indicate on your application. If you would like to appeal to start in the fall, you can email our office requesting so and explaining your reasons. We cannot guarantee you will be permitted to defer to the fall, but we do understand that there can be extenuating circumstances that come up." So, not guaranteed, no formal appeal form or anything. Dude was super nice.

Received email stating unofficial acceptance, start date is May 2018 as I indicted my interest for the summer program.

High GPA, Strong research experience for more than two years in exactly the same field. Got an interview with a POI in my S.O.P with no contact before.

Anyone else still waiting on USC? I called them and they said they are done giving out fellowships however they are still decided on teaching assistantships.

I'm still waiting to hear a decision. Any suggestions?

To the poster below, it seems for USC other aspects of the profile do not matter at all. They are giving admits solely on the basis of CGPA. Till now 99% admits r above 9 CGPA only.... Ridiculous!!!..

When are data science admits releasing of USC I have seen some posts My profile is 3 international publications,2 directly related to ML (IEEE) , 2 internships (1 directly related to ML) CGPA 7.81 TOFEL:94 Undergrad :MU(Electronic) GRE:315 What are my chances guys ?

Is there anyone still waiting for the decision or am I the only one?

I had an interview two weeks ago. Funding info is still pending. USC program extended a fully funded campus visit invitation, including hotel, food and air fares. This program has an IPE major, so I guess any background in economics, such as a bachelor double degree, would enhance your chance. The program interacts with students all through the staff, so the process feels really orgnized and professional.
