Graduate School Admission Results

Finally got their rejection. Not sure what led to it, but it is what it is. Congratulations to all those who got their admits.

Applied for Fall 22 but got in for Spring 23. Undergrad in ECE. 2 research papers and a couple of good DS/ML internsips (not that USC cares)

Received an email that I was recommended for admission for Spring 2023, though I applied for Fall2022. I guess that's what they always do. They release spring admits in May and June. 2 Research exp in the lab 1 internship

Please let me know if there are any groups or servers for admitted students!

Rejected for both MSCS (General) and MSCS( Scientists and Engineers). Got an email to check portal and the portal had rejections for both programs.

UC undergrad, non CS engineering major, International, GPA 3.63, No GRE, lots of CS related extracurriculars, but no research related to CS. Finally after a long wait. I applied on Dec 14th. Tbh, I accidentally sent unofficial transcript, so they sent me the email about that on Feb 15th (I think my decision might have been released then if I had sent an official transcript). Submitted the official transcript on that day and waited for 2 more months. Feel free to ask me any questions!

MS CS and MS CS-AI. Undergrad in ECE.

MS CS-AI program. Undergrad in non-CS (electrical branch)

Intelligent Robotics specialization. Mid-tier undergrad in CS, 2 years work experience as a machine learning engineer.

GPA - 9.82 Btech IT from Tier3 college. 4 decent papers published with the help of undergrad professors. 1.5+ years of work experience. 2 technical internships.

International undergrad, no GRE. CVPR*1,ECCV*1. Computer Vision

USC is too obsessed with GPA.

Got Acceptance for USC MSCS program, Had 1 research paper, 3 academic LOR and have 3years of professional experience as SDE in top FinTech company
