No pubs but 9 months of part-time research experience in ML applications. 6 months of ongoing work exp at an MNC at the time of applying. Looks like they only want 9+ CGPA, but I maybe wrong. In terms of admission process, I think USC is the worst case for me. Very slow for decision. Although it is not a problem for me to receive the rejection letter, I believe it is not reasonable not to frequently communicate with the applicants in these nervous process. I hope the program would make the process more fast and frequent communication. |

Checked my portal and the rejection notice was there. Expected since I saw some informal acceptances on here a few weeks back. I applied straight out of undergrad (co '22), which I'm sure operated to my disadvantage. Didn't take the GRE. Disappointed with the overall lack of communication from this department.
