Graduate School Admission Results

I applied for the MS/PhD track but I got admitted to online Master's program. I need to get more information about the program so that I can make a decision. If there are other students as me, I would be happy to be in touch with them. Good luck to everyone.

I think UMass is still rolling out acceptances, I just received mine this morning. I applied for the MS/PhD track and got acceptance from the MS track. I am still waiting for a decision from UMass for the MS/PhD program. Is anyone else still waiting? There is no hope for an admit, and the wait is more killing than the in-time reject.

UMASS AMHERST IS A JOKE!!!!!! DO NOT APPLY. SERIOUSLY, I WENT THERE FOR UNDERGRAD AND WORKED REALLY, REALLY HARD. REJECTED FOR GRAD SCHOOL. THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THEIR OWN UNDERGRADS. AND THEY ALSO TREATED APPLICANTS FROM OTHER SCHOOLS AWFUL. JUST STAY AWAY, THE FACULTY ARE FULL OF THEMSELVES. LONGTERM WHAT HAPPENED AT UMASS IS ALOT OF THE FACULTY AT UMASS GOT IN EARLY YEARS AGO BEFORE THE SCHOOL BECAME HIGH RANKED AND THE ONLY THING GRAND ABOUT THEM IS THEIR EGOS. AVOID AND SAVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH

I declined my offer, I hope someone can get off the waitlist and take my slot in the program!

TTPB: did you get an offer for the on campus MS, online MS or the hybrid one?

MS/PhD applicant but admitted to the MS program instead. No work experience. No publication but several research experiences at my undergraduate institution. Will probably accept this offer. Good luck to other MS/PhD applicants who are still waiting for the results!

Mumbai University student. 4 internships, 2 publications in the field of ML.

MS/PhD. Tier-2 clg. India. One Elsevier publication. 2 papers under review. Internships in the IIT and Defence. Been waiting since the past 4-5 months. Did not receive any admit this cycle as of now. Sigh.

It was a horrible experience, I don't recommend it

Only apply if it's your dream school. Horrible experience. Got into better schools anyway so it's all good.
