Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

Was rejected from PhD program but accepted into one-year Masters program in International Relations. Received full funding.

Email to check the website. Theory subfield.

IR. Also didn't get into Princeton.

Undergraduate- chose women as subfield.

To others who have been neither officially rejected nor waitlisted: I'm in the same boat with no official decision from Northwestern yet in spite of a lot of other people getting decisions recently. I've been checking the Apply Web Portal multiple times the last few days and do not see any sort of indication that a decisions has been made yet. I think you can only assume a decision has been made until you see a "View Your Decision Letter" button on Apply Web for your application or they notify you some other way. Until then I'd just assume unofficial waitlist at best or they haven't gotten to you yet...

Notified by the Graduate Director of Political Science! Will most likely accept this offer since it comes with a full-ride + a very generous stipend! Beyond excited for this!!!

CP. Guys pls decline if you have got better offers. Though it seems like they sent lots of waitlists? I wonder how many people are in that pool.

found my status in the portal. no email.

Saw on portal that a decision was made but it wasn't posted. Emailed the admissions director to ask and they said I was rejected, said a letter will be coming soon. 1a/4r/0w/5p

Email from Carolynn Branton. Very brief, no funding info. It says "An official letter of offer with funding details will be sent to you by early next week."
