2a/0w/5r/1p. It's amusing to receive acceptances from the University of Michigan and UChicago, and be rejected by UMinnesota and Emory. Fit matters.

My GPA is Grad: 4.0. Note: I got rejected and waitlisted at multiple programs ranked #20-#60. This is my first acceptance. This has been a long journey for me. Screw the GRE, I got into a TOP 20 PROGRAM. Fit matters. Research experience matters. UC Davis is an amazing university and I am so happy. I do believe the main reason I got in is because of my field experience in my region of interest.

It seems like we are all "top candidates" and the shortlist pretty long. Pessimist about a positive outcome. By the way, Foreign Affairs (IR).

Multiple POIs in environmental politics - chatted with through out fall- strong fit. Have a publication in the pipeline, good GREs, conference prez, but lower undergrad GPA.
