To others who have been neither officially rejected nor waitlisted: I'm in the same boat with no official decision from Northwestern yet in spite of a lot of other people getting decisions recently. I've been checking the Apply Web Portal multiple times the last few days and do not see any sort of indication that a decisions has been made yet. I think you can only assume a decision has been made until you see a "View Your Decision Letter" button on Apply Web for your application or they notify you some other way. Until then I'd just assume unofficial waitlist at best or they haven't gotten to you yet...
