Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

MEng CS. Got the same email as the poster below. Can't help but feel bitter after making us wait so long just for a reject. Now I've got to decide whether I want Cornell Tech or USC. Anyone in the same shoes?

Is there anyone like me who received the offer but hasn't received any financial assistantship yet?

I am still waiting for a notification. Is it fair to assume all decisions have been made by now?

MEng in CS. Just received the email: "Apologies if you are receiving this more than once. April 9, 2021 Dear XXX, On behalf of the Faculty of Computing and Information Science, I regret to inform you that your application for admission to the Master of Engineering Program in Computer Science has not been approved."

I think UMass is still rolling out acceptances, I just received mine this morning. I applied for the MS/PhD track and got acceptance from the MS track. admit, phd at ucf, for crcv lab. getting ORC Doctoral Fellowship worth 25K per year, and also includes all tuitions and health insurance. btech nsit, 7.8 gpa, 2 patents, 3 papers, 1 nips submission, 1 other paper in progress at iit roorkee. 3 years at samsung research.

I had an interview with a POC earlier which did not go that well

I was wait listed late March

Had an interview the first week of April. Received RA with full tuition waiver.

I was waitlisted earlier on March 24.

They sent me an email today and told me I am still being waitlisted after two months of being waitlisted: "Thank you for your patience. Unfortunately, we do not have seats available in our program for Fall 2021 at this time. We will maintain a waitlist through the summer. If we are able to offer you admission, you will be notified by email. We will provide you with another waitlist update on May 20, 2021." I honestly don't know what they want from me at this point.

Changed the status to "additional review required" last week. Received rejection today.

Generic email. They want me to reapply. Lol.
