Generic rejection email. Applied for M.Sc. (Ph.D. track). Had a discussion with a PI mentioned in the application, but he didn't have any open position in his group.

Received 5:40am Ist by mail. All the best to the admitted students. Well others, best of luck and lets hope for the best to come and say hopeful. Chill

Nerves of some school.. If your application is listed as complete in EngineeringCAS. It will be reviewed by the Graduate Admissions Committee in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. If you have not been admitted or declined, your application is still being considered. You can check the status of your application in EngineeringCAS. It is up to the admissions committee as to when a decision is made. There is no specific date.

TTPB: Thank you for the reassurance! Was your funding from the Trust, the department, or your PI? Was nominated to the Trust but still waiting on funding. My PI has only told me that he does not have any funding and has not mentioned CL funding, which is why I'm nervous.

Went to top 20 CS school undergrad with average GPA (3.35/4.0). Also average GRE (162Q, 155V). Glad I got in because I was rejected to all other 12 universities I applied to including my alma mater...
