Graduate School Admission Results

Hi everyone, were all acceptances released? Some people said the department would update the portal on Jan 22, does no information mean rejection now?

TTPB: I applied to Harvard, Caltech, and Princeton for hep-th or equivalent, and I too have not received anything from them. At least for the people who said they were contacted by these universities and posted their subfields, it seems most of them are experimental, or astrophysics. Let's hope for the best.

TTBP: Notifications have been coming from the PhD Admissions office.

TPB: Did the notification come from doctoral programs office or directly from faculty?

Had Harvard interview today (particle exp). Results will come out for all disciplines "by mid February" with good results preceding bad results, according to interviewers.

Yes you don't have anything to be excited about, this mail from Harvard Business School is just a notification of breach of their security system. They sent an email a couple of weeks ago with the same information. Any update on our applications will probably be sent by email.

Anyone who received a mail from HBS? I got a mail from HBS (according to the USPS informed delivery service). But, I am away from home for a few weeks and I can't open it until later. The suspense is killing me.

It happened pretty soon (I'm talking in terms of hours) after the interview.

I talked to a professor in Harvard who said that the general understanding is that all offers have not been sent out yet! More to come! Good luck everyone!
