Graduate School Admission Results

Seems that there are only 4 admission slots in the whole HAA department this year. Don't know how many waitlists they offer though. Not hopeful at all.

I was in the first interview event (January 19-22) and got deferred, but they accepted me after the second interview event so there's still hope! :) I think they are contacting people on a rolling basis

Recommended for admission, official letter of admission to come in March. Attended second interview weekend.

Attended 2nd interview weekend. Chem and Biochem double major, 1 pub (3rd author), 2 in prep (1st author). 2 competitive REUs. No GRE. So excited!!

TTPB: Do you mean they have sent out all of the interview invitations for the whole department or just clinical?

I emailed BIG program coordinator regarding if all the selected applicant has been already notified or not. I got this reply: "Unofficially, all interviews have taken place. You should receive official word from GSAS in the next month or so." So those who still haven't been notified of anything yet should consider it as a rejection.

I emailed the Program Coordinator and she said that most of the interview invitations have already been sent. She also said that the faculty is still conducting interviews and there's a slim chance of still getting one. However, it should be safe to assume that if we have not gotten an invitation yet, we will not be getting one this year. Good luck everyone and best wishes!

TTPB; I did not have an interview before. I was completely surprised as I had had no contact with anyone in the department

Was called by POI telling me I've been offered admission (1/4 acceptances) and will receive an official letter tomorrow! I'm absolutely shocked

A POI informed me of the decision last week, official notice came today. They're accepting far fewer students this year. Let's see what happens... but I'm not that optimistic.

TTPB: All acceptances and waitlists were sent the Thursday after the interview. If you didn't hear anything, it means you're rejected.

Have all the interview invitations been sent out? Even for the international applicants.
