Graduate School Admission Results

Did anybody hear any updates from Harvard SEAS? I could see some posts, but nothing concrete. Any idea when they will be sharing the results .

Re Interview question: on the sign up sheet there were 16 slots and 14 of them were filled for Wednesday. Unsure if they interviewed more people on different days. No mention of the purpose of the interviews

TTPB: I think the interviews this round (notified around Feb 2nd) are only for international students.

To those who received interviews: do you happen to know if they're interviewing everyone before offering admission, or only certain ppl (like perhaps only ppl they are considering for fellowships, or borderline candidates?)

Interview with three department profs, they said the results will be late February/ early March.

TTPB: yeah, not sure what's going on. Feels horrible man, geez. And no I only have one interview.

TTPB: Its very wierd right? As i didn't see much acceptance from Harvard. Did you receive any other interview with postdocs after your discussion with the prof?

from 19 jan interview. emailed interviewer, no reply. Might be over. Sad

The Political Analysis applicants all received an email today saying that Harvard has decided to not take any new PA students this year given that their two co-chairs will be on leave while working for the White House. Really disappointed.

To the theorist who was accepted by Harvard today - congratulations! Did whoever you spoke to make any mention of when decisions for musicology might come out?

Did anybody hear after the 19th-21st interview from Harvard CS? Did anybody reach out to the POI and any updates?

Does anyone know when the results are likely to be announced?

To poster below: japanese literature, and no interview but I had contact with my POI before applying

Epi methods track. 3 publications in top medical journals (not first author), 1 conference paper; courses in undergrad maths/statistics; master from top public health school; one strong rec letter from math professor; 3.5+ years working experience as statistician in academia.

Congratulations to poster below! May I ask which field you are working in? And also, did you interview with the department?

To the accepted candidates, can you please write down the specifics? Area, research group, or Interview data? Apart from the two candidates, no one mentioned anything
