Finally! So ridiculous and disrespectful to other programs for taking this long.

FINALLY. Yeesh, that was ridiculous and honestly not worth the wait. At least now I can focus on celebrating my decision! 3a/5r/0p

...anddd I got my update! Waitlisted, but so grateful not to have been rejected outright. Congrats to everyone who got in, and fingers-crossed I make it off the list (my first choice and dream school)!

Accepted off the waitlist. Offered a TA with a stipend and tuition waiver. I will be enthusiastically accepting admission but declining the TA.

Ignore waitlist! English folks -- I saw a lot of decisions from this department over the last few days... Anyone still waiting? For those that received a decision, when did you apply?

TTPB: I did send a very brief email thanking them for waitlisting me and stating my continued interest, but I never heard back or got any additional information until I was accepted through an automated system. Good luck!

TTPB - Were you officially waitlisted? Or had you not received any official decision prior to you reaching out?

I was waitlisted at CUNY and reached out to the department to follow up on their decision. I received a nice personal message from the department head explaining the circumstances leading to them not being able to take me from the waitlist. Overall sucks, but the kindest rejection I could have gotten. Will be accepted an offer from CMU

accepted 2 months ago, unsuccessful for AHRC funding, just wanted to know if any other prospective English DPhils won AHRC?

First I got an email notifying me that there was a change to my application status, then that same day I received an acceptance package in the mail with a scholarship offer and a new student checklist.
