To the post below: Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, what's your AOI and when did you hear word?

I was on the waitlist and have since been offered admission into the program. I've accepted and am now ecstatic! Sean Walsh has been extremely helpful.

QUESTION: Has anyone heard anything about (movement on) the UCLA waitlist or been in contact with Sean Walsh recently?

This is my only option. I will be shut out if I don't make it in, and I've been told I am high on the waitlist. PLEASE decline your offer or take yourself off the waitlist if you don't plan to attend. Come on, throw us anxious, waitlisted folks a bone -- it is time!

Most waitlist movement happens between 4/12 and 4/15.

Does anyone have insight into waitlist movements? It seems like students are waiting longer to accept/decline their offers this year...perhaps due to the pandemic.

Email to check the portal. I hope this means that schools are finally sending out rejections instead of leaving everyone in limbo.

COMMENT - to the folk below who reported acceptance by UCLA: congrats & thank you for sharing that! Would you mind if I ask whether this is an acceptance off the waitlist? I'm just someone who is on their waitlist and was hoping to avoid unnecessary waiting.

This department is a good fit for my research. Hopefully their first round applicants deny their offer!!!
