Physics Graduate School Admission Results

Hep-th. Masters student. No pubs. No gre. 2 REUs.

Igonre waitlist, I have heard that the acceptances/rejections usually start rolling out in early Feb. but I've not seen many for Vtech. Does anyone know if they have already sent out quite a few acc/rej? Or are they still yet to do so?

hep-th: I just now mailed my 1st priority prof at Santa Barbara to ask about my application. He said he is not taking any students, and most likely other hep-th profs are also not taking this year "due to lack of available positions.". It costs 140 USD. 2 other universities could have been applied with that money. They have good hep-th professors but they did the same thing last year or the year before that. :(

I had scheduled an interview with PI, but a day before the interview, Pi told me that it was unlikely I would be offered a position It was heart-wrecking
