Philosophy, University Of Cambridge GPA is for postgraduate work (coursework section of my MA, still awaiting grade for MA thesis). Submitted application Dec 2, Interview Jan 24, PAO early Feb. One book review in a postgrad journal, two scholarships for postgrad work, one top of year award for coursework year of MA, A+ for every piece of assessment as a postgrad student. Unsuccessful for Gates-Cambridge, still awaiting notice on other sources of funding.

Philosophy, University Of California, Berkeley Unfortunate! But I got accepted at one of my top 3 picks, so I'm grateful and happy :) GPA is undergrad from a pretty unknown school, but I was told my writing sample was fantastic, so I guess that's how I got in at other places! 1a/0w/3r/10p

Philosophy, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Unfortunate! One of my top 3 picks.
