Email to check portal, and the decision letter was there.

Canadian applicant; 3.95 overall GPA, 4.0 Phil GPA. 18k funding offer, tuition isn't automatically covered. Will be declining the offer as I was accepted at a higher ranked school (Queens does have a great name and faculty though, I'd hands down go there under different circumstances).

"The decision we have made is based solely on the recommendation of the admission committee after a careful and thorough evaluation of your application." Gee, then why couldn't those clowns have sent out an email? Anyhow, wasn't surprised by this, because I didn't even get an interview. I'm starting to get a suspicion that faculty members have encouraged me to pursue graduate school for... reasons that have nothing to do with my own interests. 4.0 M.A. GPA

As expected since others posted acceptances and waitlists several weeks back. Thought I was a great fit for the program re: AOI, oh well. GPA is grad 1a/1w/2r/2p
