I was accepted by University of Washington a few weeks ago, and I was wondering if anyone heard if they have an open house or are accepting visits to the department. (For those who are interested: I applied as CME and Nuclear Experiment and have a year of CME research with 2 publications in progress. From a state school known for physics.)

If you have already been accepted and will not be attending Northwestern Univ., please decline. This is the last time I ask you, so please,,,,, .

Well, it took so long. Applied for Exp Quantum Phys/AMO and Bio.

I just got the email for the offer letter. and the offer letter was issued on 13rd February 2020.

2 nth author pubs, 1st author in progress. Said they would offer funding for a year through TAing, a stipend for that year, full tuition waiver and that they were still debating about offering fellowships. Did anyone else that got accepted get a funding offer like this? I'm not sure if this is just me or if it's something they tell everyone.

To those accepted at UCLA yesterday and today — how exactly were you notified? Email from PI? Email to check website? or email with an enclosed offer letter? Thank you for any additional info you can give!:)

Cosmology/HEP Theory/Computation open to CMT (claimed in SoP)

Generic rejection...for all the effort that I put in, the least they could have done was put my name on the letter.

Please reject your offer ASAP if you do not plan on attending UVa.

Sent an email to check on status. They said first round of acceptances have already gone out. Applied F18 and know that if they don't tell you you're waitlisted, you're rejected come March. Applied AMO. Got accepted F17, but had to decline due to family death. This is the last year I'll apply. Good luck to everyone.
