Would have probably turned it down if offered admission anyway (have heard rumors about this program being uh Not Great), so this was for the best I think

Reached out to several faculty members, many showed interest and asked to interview. One later notified me that I had not been selected because my GPA (3.4) was below the threshold. Holistic review aside, slightly disappointed that USC nowhere mentions a threshold that makes e a portion of applications moot. Regardless, congrats to anyone admitted!

Applied by the December 15 scholarship deadline. Have not heard anything from financial aid though - TTPB: have you received info about scholarships yet?

6+ years industry ML experience. Non cs bachelor's.

did not submit gre. 50% tuition scholarship. international scholar.

To the applicants for USC MS CS, that's a bummer. Keep your hopes up, you'll get in one of your other applications. Can you all share when you applied to the program ?And also what time did you receive the Email ?

Are all the PhD FALL decisions out? I believe only the fellowship decisions are rolled out. Did anyone receive RA offers given that most acceptances are fellowship based.

Top 10 US CS undergrad, good GRE/GPA, good work exp, minimal research exp. I thought USC would be an easy admit given my profile but seems I was wrong. Also was rejected from another safety UChicago so this is really strange. I do have an admit from Cornell though so not too shaken up, I'll take Cornell over USC/Uchicago any day...

Like someone said last year, these absolute psychopaths sent out the email notification at 1:30 AM on a Saturday. I'll see u again next year admissions >:)
