Interview International PhD
Economics, University of Southern California The graduate school lost my application and department staff ignored my repeated email queries about it. They didn't respond until it was way past the deadline and weeks after the USC accept and reject decisions stopped showing up on the grad cafe. Then I got a reject in the mail a week later. It's not like I am a top gun but I still have this sad, bitter feeling inside that this decision might have been influenced by staff's incompetent handling of my application. I have found at least a half a dozen USC applicants from various fields who received a similar treatment (lost transcripts, applications, etc). So beware when applying there. Better save your time and money for more professional universities.
