University of Southern California Graduate School Admission Results

You guys are lucky that you got a decision, doesn't matter if it was a rejection. I'm still waiting for the motherfuckers to give me a decision. I have emailed them twice in the last three days but they don't care to reply. Any ways, if the wait-listed admits can't update the term or defer their admission than an admit is just as useless as a rejection. All admits should write aggressive emails to usc and demand your right to defer in these covid hit times. Find emails of the dean or the any one on the admission committee post them here so everyone can email them. Hopefully if you all exert enough pressure you guys maybe able to defer your admission

Here's a conundrum for you guys. Same university but two people speaking different things. I talked about the term update to uni staff through unibuddy. They said you can't do it. But I received email to my admitted student query that I can. Before you guys panic I want you guys to know that you should make an informed decision. I am going to believe to the reply of the email I got. Because this time is very difficult for everyone and I don't think the university will do such injustice to students they accepted. Though I was impressed by the online fall 2020 option. Before you guys decide, please make an informed decision.

TTPB. Did the staff say it applies only to international student? Are there any domestic applicant who received their result??

To the CS in Data Science below. Can you please tell me whom did you ask? Which email id?

To all international students who have received admits to USC AFTER being waitlisted, regardless of your program -- CS, EE, whatever -- you CANNOT defer to Fall 21 or Spring 21. The only option you have is to choose between Fall 20 in-person or online. And know this, they did this to fill Fall 20 seats as most Fall 20 admits have deferred to next year. Yes they dealt absolutely shitty, and fucking selfish cards, but that shows who they are. I hope you have learnt your lesson, and not apply here next year. They don't deserve another chance, and certainly not your money. Fuck you USC. All of my respect for this "great college" has turned to ashes.

YES, I applied for EE and got the waitlist email back to May 21st and have not received the admission result yet. I context them via online chat and they reply as follow: "We apologize that our Fall 2020 admission review process is taking longer than expected. I have been told that with a few exceptions, all students should have an admission decision no later than early next week. If you have not received a decision by July 8, please let us know." Holy Fu*k !!!!!!!!!!!

Finally got the result. I contacted USC about updating(defer) my admission for Fall 2021 and they replied saying that people who were waitlisted don't get to defer and that we need to reapply if we want to be considered for Fall 2021. I am not sure what decision I will make.

TTPB: The person who applied for MS in EE. Did you say you got an waitlist email notification ?! I thought EE's never received any waitlist email, man I am getting crazy over here !!!! I did not get any Email from USC other than the confirmation email for turning in my application. May I know what was included in your waitlist email?

Guys am I the only one with still no result for Computer Science (fall 2020)? Also to the people accepted in the last two days, you are admitted for fall 20 or spring 21? This is really exhausting :(
