University Of Toronto Graduate School Admission Results

I got notified a while ago but I just finished writing an exam omfg. Ontario student (non-UofT) and I didn't even think I was competitive I was ready to give up I have been checking gradcafe every day multiple times a day this genuinely doesn't feel at all real. I am crying so hard right now my gpa 3.5/4.0 just in case anyone is wondering. God bless everyone this just goes to show there is hope after all. I would love to connect with anyone else who has accepted.

Sad. Was really expecting to get into this program. Life carries on!

Just got acceptance in the morning, MEng. Would wait for any more MASc admission.

Received an email and an update on the SGS portal today. Was wait listed, there's still hope!

ignore WL. Got the following email from MScAC program team - "Thank you for your patience with our admissions review process. Your application remains under review. Due to the volume of applications we have received this year, the admissions committee has been slightly delayed in their reviewing schedule, and currently applications are still being assessed. At this time, we are hoping to have final decisions communicated to all applicants by mid-April."

Meng program.

International applicant, BSc and MSc at top3 Canadian university. Good gpa and reference letters. I posted about my waitlist status here before. Yesterday I emailed again to check for updates and today got the rejection email from the admission office. Talked with my POI and was told that there were only two international spots for the entire dept. this year, and the priority goes to the younger professors. Tough year, and best of luck to all others who are waiting for results!

Was sent an email from the graduate coordinator saying to check my SGS. Was offered direct entry PhD but decided to stick with a MSc for now. Super excited!

When can we expect UTIAS to roll out MEng decisions?

TTPB- 5 seats in total. If the current recipients decline the offer, it'll be offered to people in the waitlist. I don't think they had rejected anyone so there must be a large pool of waitlisted applicants. The chances are unlikely.

I got the news last week along with all the funding details. This was my top choice, so I'm still over the moon about it. Can't wait!

Ugh. I am crushed as I put together a strong application but I heard that this was a highly competitive year due to the pandemic and more people heading back to school.

TTPB: my letter says April 1st (I'm Canadian FYI) and I've turned down the acceptance a couple of weeks ago. I hope you get in!
