University Of Toronto Graduate School Admission Results

TTPB: Have any DPE MA/PHD applicants received an official offer/funding letter? I received an email offer from my POI and they even start engaging me in their work now. But there have not been any official details ever since?! This feels very weird.

Just received an email with this letter attached: “The Women & Gender Studies Institute has completed its review of applications to the Ph.D. Program in Women and Gender Studies. I regret to inform you that we are not able to offer you admission to our program this year. We received a large number of strong applications, and were only able to offer admission to a small fraction of our applicants. Thank you for taking the time to apply to our program, and please accept our best wishes for your future studies and endeavors.“

International applicant. BSc and MSc at UBC, high GPA, publication in prep. My field is not popular though (environmental chemistry). Based on previous conversation with potential supervisor, was told that this year is extremely competitive so I kinda expected this.

Received standard rejection letter in email.

I received an email to check the decision on the portal.

Non-Canadian. Just declined a fully-funded offer. Good luck to the international students on the wait-list.

I emailed the program director and learnt that I am not on the shortlist.

Got sent the email today morning! Accepted with 5k funding!

Part of their large rejection pool. I have contacted the department about a month earlier, and they suggested that rejection letters would be informed on late March.

Received my rejection to the MA CCP program today! It's sad but I am fortunate enough to be offered admission to their MA DPE program at OISE.

It was a long shot, never had great stats, applied because I video called a potential supervisor and we shared research interests. Plus being intl didn't do me any favors.

I have not been waitlisted yet. I am posting to ask applicants on any updates. My application status still shows "under review" and I am wondering if anyone has been accepted/waitlisted/rejected in March 2021. Any details you may post are appreciated.

Domestic student, admitted off waitlist

Why is admission decision taking this long? It's still showing "application received". They could at least send a early rejection if my application doesn't suffice their requirements, I have to make a decision based on other admits.
