- International applicant, BSc and MSc at top3 Canadian university. Good gpa and reference letters. I posted about my waitlist status here before. Yesterday I emailed again to check for updates and today got the rejection email from the admission office. Talked with my POI and was told that there were only two international spots for the entire dept. this year, and the priority goes to the younger professors. Tough year, and best of luck to all others who are waiting for results!
