Recent Graduate Admission Results April 2020
Computer Science, Columbia University (Fu Foundation) TTPB: Same here although I had initially applied to Ph.D. I have another admit from UMass Amherst but I would prefer Columbia over that. I gave my interview in the last week of March. There is a round of accept deadlines on the 23rd April so I'm expecting another batch to be released then. Fingers crossed. It's my dream to study at Columbia.

Computer Science, Columbia University I have not received any response from Columbia since my interview mid-March. Should I continue waiting or accept an admission from UPenn? What are the chances to get an admit from Columbia at these time as it is almost end of April already?

Computer Science, University Of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) My status changed to additional review required on 15th April. Still haven't received any update after that. I was wondering whether anyone is on the same boat for MS in CS. If so, please do comment here with updates, are they done sending admits? A potential rejection slot coming up? Anything. This change of status is new, most universities don't play long if they are eventually gonna reject students. A pending decision so late is uncalled for.

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia TTPB: yeah, no interview yet. that's really confusing, as most of the admitted students had given interviews in Jan/Feb. So if we had no interview then they should have rejected us during the second batch of rejections, but they didn't. So don't know what they are thinking?? Making us wait for more than 6 months just for rejection is frustrating.

Computer Science, McGill University TTPB (Both of the McGill Applicants Below): 1) I think the same. They have already sent out admits, but I have seen very fewer posts of admits/rejects/waitlist here and on Yocket. I check regularly. 2) Mine is also Non-Thesis based and shows the same status i.e. "Submitted". Probably a reject I think because already 4 months have passed since I applied. I got the reject from Waterloo last week as well. So probably McGill's result will be the same and batch reject just like Waterloo's. Have anyone of you applied to McMaster for M.Eng? Computing and Software? mine still says pending, but one of my friends already got a reject sometime around March.

Computer Science, McGill University TTPB: I got the same response on 20th of March when I asked them about the status of my application which is still "submitted". I don't think they will accept me although due to low GRE, but this is completely outrageous taking so much to time to review applications. I have submitted my application around 30th of Dec

Computer Science, McGill University Response to my status clarification request (Masters, Thesis-based): "Good morning, We have received over 1000 applications and our committee is still making their decisions as well as we are currently in crisis due to the Coronavirus. The university has taken measures to allow its staff to work from home. Decisions will take a lot longer than expected. We thank you for your time and patience."
