Recent Graduate Admission Results April 2021
Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst I applied for MS/Ph.D. program. The application is still under review. I gave them GRE scores. They didn't consider the application for MS. They didn't conduct any interviews. Now they are telling us that they will be offering us online MS. Why would we enroll for online MS from UMass? UMass is so irresponsible. I would never suggest anyone apply to UMass. Try for other safe schools. P.S. I got my offer for MS CS at Columbia University but some of my friends are desperately waiting for decision from UMass. I know how it feels like to login to spire 3-4 three times every day. Total nonsense.

Computer Scienceuter, University Of California, Irvine Came as a shocker. Was a safe uni, and there was a history of my college folks getting admits here. Thankfully I got an admit from a better uni, but this was a weird one.

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst Yep, we did send GRE score specifically for that. Please don't let this slide guys even if you have a better admit. For some of us, including me, the UMass graduate program was a dream admit. Thanks.

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst TTPB who mentioned GRE scores regarding MS/PhD admission, Umass has mentioned clearly on their website, that MS/Phd applicants need to have GRE scores, if they want to be considered for MS program.

Computer Science, Dalhousie University Got a mail that the CS dept recommended me to the Dept of graduate studies on April 1, 2021. Also on the same day, received mail from my potential supervisor to schedule an interview in the coming week. The day after (April 2nd), got the letter of acceptance. However, still waiting for the interview and the funding information. Computer Science, University Of California, Irvine 1 year full-time research experience. 2 AAAI, 1 ICLR and 1 Springer Nature papers. 1 in review at TPAMI and 1 in review at ICCV. Strong LoRs from Google Brain and Institute Chair Prof at IIT-Bombay. 1 AI startup internship, 2 research internships at top-tier labs, 2xGSoC in AI/ML. Strong research fit with profs and several National Awards. Well, it counted for nought. Congratulations to those who made it!

Computer Science, University Of California, Irvine Not received a single admit yet. UCI was the safest university I had applied to this season. From a new IIIT, dept rank 1, three internships, 1 paper at international conference (best innovation award). My senior with a lower GPA and GRE than me got into UCI last year. I think the universities have got a lot of people to choose from this season.

Computer Science, Georgia Institute Of Technology **Ignore Waitlist** TTPB: Congratulations!! Is it MS in Cybersecurity or MS CS with a concentration in Information Security? Also, is this it for MS CS? I haven't heard much information in the last few days. Can I give up on this now? :-((
