Applied Mathematics, Wheaton College Applied Math/Econ Dual Degree. 3 year varsity baseball player. Summer Institute of Biostatistics Alumni, Presented Poster at a Conference and have a lot of TA work under my belt. My GPA was not the best, nor my GRE, but somehow I got off the waitlist for the Iowa Biostats PhD! Crazy. Praise God, because I'm from a small Liberal arts college.

Economics, University Of Texas At Austin Can anyone help me to see where did I go wrong in the application, 9r, 0a, master GPA is also 4.0, 3 RL from distinguished or chair professors 2 econ 1 math, very specific SOP, not sure if all professors strongly recommended me. I was just sure that I scored full marks or highest scores in their classes and it seems to me that they like me and support my application. is there any other possiblity? really desperate.

Economics, University Of British Columbia Undergrad from mid level, Ontario University, econ/fin major, Math minor (~15 math/stats classes)I am unfortunately getting zero funding which is quite a problem but will will see how everything plays out if anybody has any recommendations, please let me know. 2a/0r/6p

Health Economics And Outcome Research, University Of Washington Interviewed on 01/13/23 and 02/09/23; undergrad: Econ major and masters: Health Policy major (both highly ranked US universities); standard interviews questions - did my best (got a poker face from David Veenstra during the interview but others were cordial).

Economics, Concordia University Not directly accepted into the MA. Instead have been given asked to do a semester in grad diploma and then can transfer to the MA (due to lack of advanced econ courses). Waiting for other decisions, otherwise will accept for sure.
