I received an email on Sunday, 2/11 at 10:40am saying that my decision would be posted to the portal in 48 hours. I checked today and my acceptance letter was posted. No direct contact from department yet.

Received a nice e-mail saying that they had too many applicants.

Excited to attend here in the fall! Still awaiting news for assistantship

To the person who asked the question. They don't accept or reject everyone at the same time. It depends on many factors. You could have a positive or negative answer in a few weeks or months (Some people get accepted on April 15). It is unlikely that your status will change on the Website. eEven if you got accepted, that might take a while. I don't know how it is for IS people, but if you applied for composition and were not interviewed by now, it doesn't look very good.

3/4 funding with provisional acceptance into PhD program. No word on any sort of teaching assistantship.

Was supposed to hear by Dec. 18. I emailed today and they said notifications had been sent out on Dec. 14 but of course I didn't receive it. They rejected me as an undergrad too, despite my father going there as well. Good riddance!

I'll be turning them down in a few days. Good luck to all other applicants!
