Graduate School Admission Results

To the person below asking about the MFA on Composition, I also still have not heard about my results. I know it should be out any time now... It's taking too long and the national graduate school decision thing is already on April 15..

Received an email at 6:00am to check the website. No phone interview and had not heard of any decision before the usual deadline of acceptance so I assumed. Reason given was because there is no available room left in my program for this academic year.

I was #1 on the wait list, but the person ahead of me accepted her offer yesterday. There were only two RWL spots (as reference for future applicants).

My first rejection... Just received a kind, personal message informing they will not be able to invite me to an interview, and welcoming any inquiries about the decision. It was indeed a bit of a long shot, but it still somewhat dissapointing. Well, I hope for better with the next schools :)

DMA - no disappointment whatsoever, already been accepted to Eastman and UPenn for PhD on 4-year full ride with stipend at both (will likely choose Eastman).

Email from department chair, in advance of official admissions/awards letter. Amazing fellowship offer.

Received an email from the department chair about a week and a half ago saying that I have been strongly recommended. Received the official word today from a package in the mail.

Only had in 1 of 3 letters when they reviewed apps.
