Graduate School Admission Results

Totally a surprise!!!

Got email to check decision on the admission form link. There I got an offer letter to confirm seat by Feb 15 by paying $300 and also a decision form to fill up.

Was too ambitious. hoping to get better results in 2017.

CGPA 7.53/10, 5 years workex

I have no publication yet. The admission committee was very interested in my research experience, and offered me the admission 27 hours after the interview.

WAITING FOR DECISION FROM USC AND U PENN

My first acceptance after 6 rejections - from UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD, Stanford, MIT and Princeton (though, to be honest, only 2 of these were good fits). Looks like UPenn was able to look beyond my GRE quant score and give importance to my solid research experience. Very excited. 1a/6r/4p

When will they give results for the second round? Did someone call them? Whats up with them? There is no trend in last year's results for admits or rejects. Are they done with admits?

To the poster below - Yes I will be accepting it. It's turned out to be a very good match with respect to my research interests. I believe they started their admissions process relatively late, this professor made all his offers only last week.

Got into M.Eng 1 year course. Has someone else got the admit for the same?

I worked with a professor there as summer research intern and published a paper with him (as a third author). He promised to take me as his PhD student.
