A bit disappointed....here is the content of rejection letter: "Our Graduate Admissions Committee has met and made final selections for Fall 2016 admission to our Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences. The criteria which were considered included academic status, i.e., masters or bachelors level preparation, grade point average, letters of recommendation, graduate record exam scores (GRE), test of English as a foreign language score (TOEFL) and a suitable match with a faculty member. I regret to inform you that your application was not one of those selected for admission. The Committee had to make some difficult decisions. We had only a limited number of positions available and some applicants with solid backgrounds had to be turned away. We do appreciate your interest in the Graduate Program in Nutritional Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University and wish you luck in your future endeavors." |
