Chemical Engineering, University Of Michigan To the poster below who rejected his offer, how did you reject your offer? Did you reply to the email they sent you or did you find a link in the Wolverine Access portal to submit your decision? I can't find a link in the portal. I would also like to reject the offer.

Cinema And Media Studies, University Of Californa, Los Angeles (UCLA) I re-read this application the other day to see how I felt about it now, and I came away feeling like it was so solid that the (expected) rejection letter is their loss. Seriously. Don't let some committee tell you your worth. As we all know by now, this system is rigged by money and power. Even if there isn't outright bribery, there are people within inside tracks that they get from their elite connections with donors or have connections to faculty through academic networks or are just students of graduates of the program. There is an uneven playing field - a reflection of our unequal society. Some applicants were educated in private high schools and elite colleges because their parents are wealthy (of course they got wealthy by making money off of working people). Finally, Republican-led cuts to state funding and the busting of several graduate employee unions in the midwest through changes in state laws is destroying access to higher education. Increasingly you have to be wealthy just to go to graduate school. That's why there are way fewer "spaces available than there are applicants." Money is going to six-figure administrator salaries and not to support education. Higher education should be free, paid for by the wealthy. Instead the wealthy monopolize our public institutions and get their children in at the head of the line. Best wishes to all applicants. Let's change this messed-up system. You can start by joining or organizing your graduate employee union. But, it's going to take a lot of work to kick out the entrenched powers that be.

Aerospace Engineering, University Of Texas At Arlington Applied at end of February. The day before the acceptance email, they gave me access to the MyMav system and gave me an email account. Worked for 3 years in industry before applying, plus military service probably helped my application.

Mechanical Engineering, University Of Michigan It says $0. I emailed the university and they said we can get GSRA appointed up to 25% to get a tuition waiver. But I have no idea how to apply or anything. I can't access anything in Wolverine. So I was wondering if I have to accept the offer before accessing other tasks.

Mechanical Engineering, University Of Michigan Anyone knows how to apply for GSRA or GSI as an international masters student? Or how can we apply for any available financial aid at the university? Do we have to accept the offer first before we can access to anything in Wolverine site? I'm a little confused please help.

MAPH, University Of Chicago Basically told I was not awarded funding because I am a veteran and have access to the Yellow Ribbon Program. The program helps those who still have education benefits left. Most vets run out of funding by the time grad school rolls around if they did not already have a BA. Most likely will not attend.

Speech Language Pathology, University Of Northern Colorado Is there any good reason these schools make you take the extra step of logging into the portal instead of just attaching the letter? I mean, couldn't they at least include the info in the email body even if they also need you to also access it on their site? Third rejection and getting annoyed ;)

English, University Of Guelph Canadian notified via e-mail (through UG). Funding is base $6K plus $17,776 for TA-ship. The funding does not include OGS or SSHRC (still waiting on those responses). If you've applied, check the Gryph Mail through UG (you'd have received an email from them to access it). Good luck!
