City Planning, Massachusettes Institute Of Technology (MIT) Hadn't heard anything until today, so assumed I was rejected. Got a phone call this morning from Eran Ben-Joseph (I think?), who said I'd be receiving an official notice in the mail if I hadn't already gotten it. A few minutes later, got an email with info about the open house, and then another email with access to an online portal that had an electronic version of my letter, which offered to cover 75% of tuition. CDD.

Creative Writing (fiction), Virginia Polytechnic And State University (Virginia Tech) E-mail to check portal. Couldn't access so I ended up calling school and they e-mail a pdf of the letter. Figured this one was a no, but starting to feel the sting of the dreaded "r." 1a/1w/6r/3p

MPhil Modern European History, University Of Cambridge (UK) Super excited! Canadian applicant, applied Jan 4. Went to GAO on the 14th (posted earlier), conditional offer on the 22nd, and access to offer conditions today. Was a visiting student at Oxford last year and had my LORs from profs there. Have done research under a professor and independently (thesis). Hi Jennifer.

By the way, we don't need to register to get access to CamSIS right? One should be able to find out about their decision through the app. portal or email, correct? Thanks you

International Relations And Politics, Cambridge University (UK) Mates, please DO NOT freak out about the GAO stage! It may not be a 100% sure thing to get through, but that's simply because some people forge their documents (dubious references or fake transcripts; transcripts can be unofficial, it's not required to submit an official transcript), plagiarize in their proposals, or do not meet the minimum GPA requirement (though the degree committee would already reject those cases if that was a problem). If you're not guilty of these, there's no reason for GAO to not offer you admission (I am not sure what to think about the post below regarding the mysterious withdrawal; I've never heard that either). That said, please give them 1-3 weeks to release your offer to the world, especially given the technical difficulties they are experiencing at the moment. I agree with the poster below: they won't be able to do anything until Feb 20th because they also cannot access the system, so that's the earliest that're gonna start sending out offers (they told me so in an email). Netflix and chill till then!:)

MRC DTP Programme, Cambridge University I called the admission office to ask for an update on my application status, but they said that they do not have an access to the system due to the maintenance works and that my status will be updated on Tuesday next week. So I guess we will not receive any updates until next Tuesday.
