Check the portal and find the result. Too sad.

Has anyone received a decision from LSE? I applied in early January and have not heard anything back. Anyone in the same boat?

No funding.

Received an email notifying reject decision. Upset but good luck to you all

No email so far, just checked lse for you: "Unfortunately you have been unsuccessful in your application for your first choice course. An email has been sent to you. The competition for places at LSE is intense and inevitably many well qualified applicants cannot be accepted. This decision is final, and no further comment can be made"

Anyone still waiting for a result?

All but references were done in late December... application officially complete on Jan 5th. Undergrad at a top 4 Canadian institution and 1 year RA experience at central bank. Devastated to say the least. Email to check LSE for you 2.5

To poster below admitted to LSE Econ masters - when did you submit application?

TPB: They are likely rejecting people in rolling windows. The earlier you applied, the earlier you get rejected, if that's the case. People I know who applied a few days before the deadline have already got rejected. People who applied by the deadline have the "under consideration" status. Good luck! :D

Nationality: Indonesian. Two undergraduate degrees in molecular genetics and accounting from universities in North America. I may decline the admission offer because I am currently in a Ph.D. economics program.

Meh. It was a long shot.

To the poster below who posted: "The Deparment of Economics has decided to withdraw the MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (2-years) programme from 2016- 17 onwards" How long did they take to get back to you? I'm waiting for the same course. Fingers crossed.
