Received an email that reads "The Deparment of Economics has decided to withdraw the MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics (2-years) programme from 2016- 17 onwards...". Not sure if I was rejected, or the 2 year programme will no longer exist..

To the poster below asking about GRE scores and LSE ID, I applied with 161/168/4.0(V/Q/AW) on 1 Jan and got my LSE ID on 17 Jan. It took about a month to receive an offer for MSc in Economics after being turned down from MSc in Finance and Economics. Not sure if you're aware of this but if you place your pointer over a red rhombus in the Decision & Date column, you'll see more info about the posters including their GPAs and GRE scores (when available).

To the poster below: I didn’t receive the formal offer of admission, I just received the email from Oriana Bandiera saying that I was admitted on Mar 3rd. Not sure what’s going on. I also sent them an email asking about funding and haven’t gotten their reply, either.

Dream school but waiting on other applications. Hope the safety ones work out at least.

Rejected four days after the interview. It is a very endogamic program (if you check the website is pretty clear that the majority of their students studied their undergrads and masters in the same university). The interview is very technical and, as you can see, it didn't go well.

Deadline to accept is March 12th.

TPB asking about Oxford Dphil result: this acception in DPhil was in Mathematics. I also applied in Economics, for which I am still waiting an answer. For both, I applied on January 23. Best wishes.

Same as below. They said that their final decision will be after the second round (May), but it is pretty clear to me that I don't have a chance. I hope good news start arriving soon. 1a/4r/1i/10p

To the post below, did you get a scholarship from sse? If so, when did they notify?

TPB: to the person below who’s been accepted to Oxford, did you mean dphil in economics? If so, may I ask when have you applied? Thanks!
