Accepted plus VTSI fellowship! So excited, was my first choice!!!

International applicant, GRE not required, 1 pub in irrelevant area (speech pathology), two conference posters, strong LOR from a well-known faculty in my research interest area. PI: JC. They didn't mention funding in the email though.

Initially got an invite for a meet and greet day, and the official offer letter came a couple days later via the portal.

Applied as HEP-Ex. Had an interview that didn't go very well. 2+ years of Nuclear Experimental research, an REU at a top public institution, and a poster presentation at DNP 2023 associated with that REU.

They said via email they were still going through applications and did not have an ETA on interviews. That was Jan 22, 2024. I emailed follow up this week Feb 21, 2024, but have gotten no response.

My fourth interview for this program was Feb 9, 2023. Have not heard back since. They said they were screening ~70 applicants, which was double from last year. They have 6 slots available. They said I would hear back within a month (4 weeks).

Decision for online program Summer 2024. Received an e-mail to check portal for my decision.

Rejected because I don't have a master's degree. Can move my application to master's.

IGNORE waitlist. Has anyone heard back for Formal interview or any acceptance?
