ICME, Stanford University Thanks for sharing your stats. I'm surprised that you consider your SCPD GPA low with 3.85 lol I heard computer science and electrical engineering people who do SCPD consider themselves as a good GPA if their SCPD GPA is above 3.5 . I thought that your SCPD GPA stays around 3.0 or something Congrats by the way!

Materials Science And Engineering, Stanford University B.Tech from IIT Delhi (7.3/10). M.Tech from KAIST (3.8/4.3). 3 years research. Awards, presentations, etc but no pubs. SoP, diversity statements do not matter a lot, unless you have a stellar profile.

Anthropology (Archaeological), Stanford University Though I applied for the PhD program, I received an automated letter of rejection for the MA program (as did many others). Stanford really doesn't seem to have their shit together this year.

Physics, Stanford University I mailed to a professor of Stanford on Monday, he told me that he contacted with someone in the admission committee. There are about 700 applicants this year, and the admission will be sent this week or so, so I guess it will be in no more than 3 days.
