Hello @stanford poster below. When did you receive the interview invite? Did they indicate anything about decisions/timelines?

Only 5% acceptance rate. No interview.

To the Stanford post below: Congratulations! Could you please tell if you interviewed with them and when?

Operations Research

2.5 yrs industry experience, small state school undergrad, 3.9 GPA, 166Q, 2 DOE undergrad internships, no publications. Not too disappointed about the result lol.

Interviewed on 2/4/18. 2 papers, 1 first author.

They are Cruel! didn't even notice my SOP and great achievements of my MS studies, I am fucking the professors who gave positive response before apply and did nothing after that! They are not human :((((( Go to Cornell for graduate studies and giving the middle finger to Stanford faculty ;)

Found the admission letter that was sent to me more than a week ago in the "Junk" folder!

VERY sloppy rejection letter. The letter said "Our MA program is very competitive" when I applied to the PhD...not a good look for the school if they can't even proof their own rejection letters. I have a fantastic offer at another school though, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The posts below are definitely fake. Stanford does not communicate admission decisions through the application website but through a letter sent by email.

Has anyone heard anything official?

To all the 'Stanford people' using this forum as a way to converse: please stop. Many others use this section of the site to look at results. Take it to the forums. Cheers!
