No tuition waiver

If you're accepting another offer, then please let LSE know! I just recieved an email suggesting they may offer funding if other candidates turn down their offer (long shot I know). Thanks! Text: "as we enter the final stages of the process it would be useful to know from waitlisted candidates a) what your other funded and waitlisted offers are and b) whether you would choose the lse over these offers if we found you funding this will be useful information if any of our funded candidates decline their offer we should also stress that if you do not receive a funded offer then we would not advise you take up our offer as this would require you to cover the full costs of overseas fees and living costs for five years in any case we look forward to getting this information"

No funding

Very pleased to be admitted, but unfortunately it's far too expensive.

I received an official rejection by email, on a Saturday afternoon. My online status was also updated. Average BSc of mathematics from EPF Lausanne, excellent MSc of Applied mathematics from ETH Zürich. Master thesis in theoretical Economics. Good teaching experience. Research assistant in Macroeconomics. I received my applicant ID number on Dec 7th, 2015 and the decision on Saturday 30th, 2016, that is, about 8 weeks later. Good luck to all of you.

I was accepted in these two universities. Anyone has any thoughts about this? TSE seems to have more money and be more invested in the future...
