Just received a conditional offer for the MSc EME program!! Submitted my application on the 30th of March, received LSE ID on the 10th of April and offer today. Very happy!

TPB: I emailed the applied econ department one week ago and was told we can only see things move on after April 16. TBH, I prefer to reapply and get some research experience for one or two years first.

I have received the email below and I have not been contacted by any of their faculty members yet. Anyone else has received the same email and got interviewed? "Until our final results will be published in mid-April, we would like to already inform you that you have been chosen as a candidate for our shortlist, i.e. you are among the promising applicants. This means that you may be contacted by a faculty member for a (skype) interview over the next days." *Grad GPA

No funding...

I guess VGSE is waiting how many are going to accept the offer and then they will send rejections.

TOEFL iBT: 114. Didn't have lots of hopes on this one. How much did those who were admitted scored in the GRE and TOEFL?

I am only waiting for a scholarship response from another university. But, I am very likely to accept this offer. I am Latin American and I come from the best school of economics in my country. I have experience as a research assistant (4) and as a teaching assistant (1), as well as in central banking.

Sooooo excited. It is my dream school. Initially fear my moderately low Q score (exacerbated by the fact that I'm math major in undergrad) will works against me, but it seems not!

No surprise to me, low GRE and nothing incredible to make up for it. Waiting for the second choice but really not hopeful. Got some other good choices anyway. Congratulations to everybody who gets in!

Submitted early November as well, still nothing. "Under Consideration by Department" since Thanksgiving. A couple people have posted recently, not sure when they submitted
