I have been told they haven't sent all admits yet.

Accepted into MS in CS. Lowkey was my safety, not surprised at all.

I applied in early deadline but got no mail today. Maybe I'm rejected. smh, I really wanted to go to CMU :(

TTPB: I submitted my application on Dec 12th and I got the email today.

Are all the admits the people who had submitted by early application deadline ones (Dec 2)? Or are there any admitted people who had submitted by Dec 12? I am hoping that they will consider Dec 12 applications in the second round of admits.

#MS_CS 5% of 2000 is 100. Do we see an related number of posts on Gradcafe?

To all MS applicants: don't be bothered about whether or not you can log into "unit 1" and so on. That is not related to whether or not you have been admitted. In my official admission letter, the unit number was a two-digit number, e.g. 32, 56, 88.

To all CMU posters, stop this confusion and arguments, it is better if you mail and ask the department, don't create unnecessary vague opinions about what you think, it just doesn't matter to the other person.

To all the posters below, I don't think there is going to be another wave of decisions because the current acceptance letter clearly mentions that they selected 5% of the 2000 candidates this year.

To everyone and all, until and unless there's a clear reject you still stand a chance, university of chicago also had two waves, and i got accepted in second wave, there were less admits in first wave. So stay calm, accept whatever you will get.

TTPB: One of my friends who got recieved acceptance is not able to login into unit=1. Separate reply form has been floated.

I wish I get admit in CMU CS other wave of admits, I just want to be in that place and it's my old dream

How do you say 'based on past years'? And do you think only so less number of people are accepted into the program MSCS? Even after discounting for those not on Gradcafe, there must be atleast some more admits, isn't it? BTW, why don't we ask them directly if all admits are out? They respond quite quickly.
