We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to the Master of Computational Data Science (MCDS) program of the Language Technologies Institute in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. The MCDS admissions committee has considered over a thousand applications and the committee has been particularly impressed with your application. As you may know, our program is a highly selective one, and you are one of the few students whom we have selected for our incoming class of 2020/2021.

TTPB: Not the OP but they could all be spam since these are anonymously submitted. Technically every submission here could be spam for that very reason.

TTPB for MCDS: Genuine question, how do you know it's spam? Did you email CMU to verify if results are out? There are like 8 or 9 posts, all of them cannot be spam. Last year also there were 10-12 posts here for admits in mcds.

TTPB: For the MCDS spammer: stay calm! You cannot fool anyone besides yourself. For other applicants to CMU, be careful of all posts here. Even though most of the posts are genuine, there are still false messages like what we have seen so far.

CMU MCDS DECISION HASN'T BEEN MADE. To all the spammers: plz stop as its not funny. We all know waiting is painful, but there are actually people relying on the grad cafe information.

TTPB: CMU CS PHD ARE NOT FULLY OUT.

To the post asking about PhD from CSD, the offers are already out. I personally know two people (one in the theory and one in systems) who got the official letters a couple of weeks back.

TTPB regarding MSCS waitlist: did you receive an explicit email for waitlisting? Or it is just your conjecture based on receiving neither admit nor reject? Thanks!
